The Martino's Roma Tomato is an heirloom variety prized for its rich flavor and excellent suitability for making sauces and pastes. The oval, plum-shaped fruits typically weigh 3–5 ounces and have a deep red color. The flesh is dense and meaty, with minimal seeds and a sweet, tangy flavor that makes it perfect for canning, making sauces, and even roasting.

Determinate plants grow to 4–5 feet tall, producing an abundant yield of these flavorful Roma tomatoes throughout the growing season. These plants thrive in full sun and benefit from consistent moisture for the best fruit quality. Staking or caging is recommended to support the plant and fruit.

80-90 days from transplant.  This Heirloom originated from Italy to the Finger Lakes region of New York state.  Obtained from an 87 year old Italian gardener, who said that this variety had been in his family for years.  High yields of red, pear shaped fruit that average about 3 inches in length.  Flavor is very good and sweet.  Perfect choice for paste or sauce.
