The Chocolate Pear Tomato is a striking heirloom variety known for its unique shape and deep, rich flavor. The small, pear-shaped fruits typically weigh 2–3 ounces and have a rich, dark reddish-brown color with a smooth, glossy finish. The flavor is sweet, with a mild tanginess and earthy undertones, making it perfect for snacking, roasting, or adding to salads.

Indeterminate plants grow to 5–6 feet tall, producing a steady harvest of these flavorful, small tomatoes throughout the growing season. They thrive in full sun and require consistent moisture to maintain the best flavor and fruit development. Due to the size of the plants and fruits, staking or caging is recommended.
