The Stump of the World Tomato is a rare and prized heirloom variety known for its large size, excellent flavor, and history. The fruits typically weigh 1–2 pounds and have a slightly flattened, beefsteak-like shape with deep red coloring. The flesh is meaty, juicy, and offers a rich, sweet flavor with a mild acidity, making it perfect for slicing, sandwiches, and fresh eating.

Indeterminate plants grow to 6–8 feet tall, producing a bountiful yield of large, flavorful tomatoes throughout the growing season. These plants thrive in full sun and require consistent moisture to maintain the best fruit quality. Staking or caging is recommended to support the heavy fruit load.
